What’s your activity for weekends?
Trying out special dishes at different cafés and restaurants is one of my so called routine during weekends.
One of the best possible ways to discover on what Klang Valley has to offer (food) is by browsing  through food blogs (just like I did) or do an impromptu trip around the vicinity. While scrolling down the lists, we found this one café that has a  unique and yet simple name with cool environment (interior), which gave mysterious aura.
It is AMPM Café, perhaps one of the popular cafés among people around Subang/USJ!

Thanks to Waze and this café’s fairly large signboard which I find really helpful to find it.

Located right next to Main Place (Shopping Mall/Condo) in USJ, AMPM is an ideal place for the residents of USJ and Putra Heights (or perhaps around Klang Valley) to dine in and enjoy their wide selections of food and beverage. So, I went here for my brunch that I really really need a big portion of meal. Nyam

As I walked into the café, there were many guests sitting on the outdoor area but we choose to stay indoor because it was freaking hot that I literally get soaked in a sweaty condition staying like few minutes under the sun. However, i’m glad that haze is finally gone!

Back to topic.

While inspecting this café (unfortunately I didn’t check out the second level. Sigh), I found these tiny creatures as one of their interior decorations.

AMPM is divided over two floors, which gives customers spacious and comfortable space to roam and enjoy what it has to offer.

I see lot of photo opportunities around the café which people who loves to take vintage (hipster) photo would probably need to check it out. Instagrammable enough!

Simply take your time to look at their menu (nice and simple design of menu book).
The menu only gives you a name of the dish and its short description, which I find it would be helpful when they include a picture for all dishes so that customers are able to see how it looks like and what to expect.

So, what did we have for our brunch?

Pot of Harney & Sons (Paris) tea – enough for two
RM9/pot

This one is a must try. You can request for a honey to add up some sweet tastes but without honey itself is more than enough, as for me.

What else you can order? I heard that AMPM serves best selections of coffee which includes Latte (RM9), Cappuccino (RM9) and Mocha (RM10). I’m not a fan of coffee but will highly recommend you to try some of them. Coffee lovers will definitely love it!

If you come here for a breakfast, i’ll recommend you to try their AMPM Breakfast Signature Big Breakfast (RM25.9 with choices of eggs, citrus beef bacon or chicken ham, sausage, mixed greens, sweet potatoes, wild mushrooms, cheese baked tomato, refried beans and toast.

Never had this big portion for my breakfast before but I strived to finish them all (with a little help from my friend) because this was just so delicious especially the egg and sweet potatoes!

For light bites, you can try or must try their Sweet Potato Fries (RM10) with optional dip sauces such as Special Salted Egg (RM3), Sour Cream & Onion (RM3) and AMPM Secret Dip (RM4).

Another highly recommended menu that you must try is Egg Benedict (RM18), poached eggs that are served on onion scones, mixed greens, with your choice of citrus beef bacon/smoked salmon/chicken ham (we prefer smoked salmon) served with homemade hollandaise sauce.

Eggs were poached perfectly that you could see how it looks like on above picture. One of the pretty decent egg benedicts, so far.

However, I would love to try their other menus like cakes and other main courses hence it means that I will definitely come back here again.
