Those who know me in person can tell that I am a type of human who enjoys more in a calm surrounding. I love to socialise. I work in a fast-paced environment – shooting contents and travel here and there. Well, whenever I have my free time, I’ll always go for something calming and quite. This also applies when choosing a place to stay.

It was a hectic week for me and I’m just lucky that the invitation came right on time. I was invited by The Chateau Spa & Organic Wellness Resort for a 2D1N stay at its property to experience its hospitality and facilities. I immediately say yes to that offer because that’s what I really need at that moment, which is to escape from the hustle and bustle of the city without the need to travel far from Kuala Lumpur.

I started off my journey from Kuala Lumpur. Since it is located just about 45 minutes drive from Kuala Lumpur, I opted for a luxury MPV transfer from the city, which is one of the services for its guests. The spacious and comfortable MPV can fit up to four people with plenty of room for luggage or other items.

Besides, it has a shield between passengers and driver giving me guests more privacy as well as complimentary water to stay hydrated while on the way. I the first few minutes doing some works and the rest of it just admiring the lush green views as soon as we are approaching Berjaya Hills.

The word chateau in French means castle, which you can see the resort’s buildings look like a medieval castle. Sometimes I asked myself, am I really in Malaysia? It does exude that French vibe. LOL.

Upon arrival, the friendly bell boy waited for me to assist with my luggage before I walk to the lobby. The check-in process was smooth as I don’t need to go to the counter. Their staff came to me to get my details and straight lead my way to my room.

I asked the staff “May I know what room do I get?”. She replied “It’s a 1-bedroom suite, sir. It is one of the best rooms at this resort“. That sparks my curiosity to see how my room looks like. The Chateau Spa Resort boasts 180 rooms and suites of elegance, inspired by European design and equipped with great amenities.

The 1-bedroom suite, that is overlooking a hill and rainforest view, has a spacious living area with a plush sofa, work desk, mini bar, flat-screen LCD TV.

Besides that, there is also a powder room hers to get ready. For the bathroom, there is are separate rooms for standing shower and bathtub with complete bathing essentials such as soap, shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion and more.

Lastly, the room features a comfortable king-sized bed with soft pillows to ensure all guests can have their good sleep.

I have posted some Instagram Story updates during my stay and I received a few enquiries from my fellow friends and readers regarding the dining experience here. The Chateau Spa Resort has restaurants serving different types of cuisines from French, international to local cuisines. The good thing is most of the menu is prepared with fresh and organic ingredients. I know it’s gonna be a total feast here.

There are five restaurants at this resort including L’asiette (Fine dining French cuisine), Le Rouge (perfect for a cocktail), Salon Cigar Lounge (Bar lounge). Meanwhile, Belle Vue is usually for guests to enjoy their delectable breakfast spread in a beautiful setting with a great amount of natural light.

I enjoyed all of the foods offered for breakfast. All were fresh and delicious. I opted for a fresh juice, some bite-sized starters, omelettes, waffle, green tea, fruits, smoothie and more. Phew, it’s a long list but as expected, I manage to finish them all.

The last restaurant is the La Vie Restaurant, which is an all-day dining restaurant that serves a wide array of international cuisines specially curated by their experienced chefs using only the finest and freshest ingredients. Plus point, this restaurant is located beside the main swimming pool, which is an ideal spot to savour their food.

Since it’s a wellness resort, guests can enjoy a variety of healthy and complimentary activities including a swim in the salt-water swimming pool, morning yoga session, access to the sauna and gym. This helps you to stay fit and healthy during your holiday.

Feels like doing more fun activities during your stay? Don’t worry. There are a wide array of leisure activities to do outside the resort, which you can make a reservation with the resort. They will arrange for you.

If you love to picnic, you can join their Organic Farm & Picnic tour. When I heard that most of the ingredients that they use to cook their food are organic and produced from the farm, I’m getting even more excited to see the farm. There is a transfer provided by the resort to the farm, which is located just a few minutes.

I learned that fruits and vegetables here are free from pesticides and chemical fertilizer.

In this tour, you not only have the chance to see the farm but also go for a picnic while savouring some organic and mouth-watering pastries made by them.

To all adventure junkie out there, there is a spot for you. If you are up for some thrilling activity, head to the Adventure Park.

Do you wish to fly at the speed of 100KM per hour and more than 100 metres above the tropical rainforest? There is Flying Fox for you.

Do you wanna enjoy the fresh air while walking on a platform above the rainforest? There is Canopy Walk for you.

Do you wanna challenge yourself and test your physical stamina?  Go for their rock climbing activity. Warning: It is harder than it looks.

Have you ever wished to visit Japan before? Japan sounds pretty far away from you? Don’t worry. You can still get a taste of the Japanese vibes at The Japanese Village. The moment you entered this village, you can feel its tranquillity with the soothing sound of the waterfalls and lush green trees around you.

You could also experience a traditional Japanese tea ceremony. Be sure to rent the Yukata to add more feeling (and photo opp).

That’s all my experience staying at The Chateau Spa & Organic Wellness Resort. So you ask me whether it is possible to squeeze in all the mentioned activities within 2D1N stay? Yes, you definitely can. So, what are you waiting for? Time to book a short staycation or getaway at this resort soon!

  1. Amazing pictures Pojie. And yes, you made it look like it is a vacation in France rather than an hour drive from KL.

  2. I am so in awe with your photos, Pojie! And the property itself looks so lovely! Maybe I should try out this accommodation in my next visit to Bukit Tinggi. Woohoo!
