Tiada apa yang diinginkan oleh seorang pengembara selain daripada merasai keselesaan maksima ketika menaiki flight untuk ke destinasi yang agak jauh. Buat pertama kali, baru-baru ini aku berpeluang untuk merasai pengalaman menjadi salah seorang penumpang AirAsia X Premium FlatBed ke Tokyo, Jepun.
Terkenal dengan slogannya tersendiri iaitu “Now Everyone Can Fly Xtra Long“, AirAsia X Premium FlatBed juga mendapat anugerah World’s Best Low Cost Airline Premium Class Seat oleh Skytrax. Wow! Bertambah teruja nak naik bila dapat tahu pasal ni.
Kelas Premium atau Premium FlatBed adalah hampir sama seperti Kelas Bisnes yang ditawarkan oleh syarikat penerbangan yang lain cuma terdapat sedikit perbezaan dan antaranya ialah nama bagi kelas itu sendiri.

Based on my experience most of the benefits are indeed beneficial —
40kg baggage? Sangat berguna kerana kalau pergi Jepun, confirm kita akan beli banyak barang.
Priority check-in? On my way back from Tokyo to Kuala Lumpur, I saw a long queue around the check-in counter. I’m not sure whether that flight memang selalu ramai or kebetulan. But this benefit is truly helpful. Lagi-lagi flight tengah malam dan badan dah mula lemau.
Priority baggage delivery? Bila flight penuh, sudah tentulah banyak baggage. Bila banyak baggage, makin panjanglah masa yang diambil untuk anda keluar dari airport — tunggu baggage. Sampai dekat Haneda Airport (HND) pukul 10.45 dan last train will be 12 am. Selain daripada budaya kerja warga Jepun yang sangat efisien, benefit ini juga membantu aku untuk tidak terlepas train ke bandar Tokyo.
During our flight to Tokyo, we got a change to be the earliest on the airplane right after the cabin crews and the pilots. For at least there is a little time and space for me to take some photo and tour around.
Air Asia X is operating A330 airbus and there were 12 premium flatbed seats available for their passengers. Bear in mind that this premium flatbed seat is highly limited to a small number — for popular destinations according to specific season. Do plan you trip and book your flight earlier as you can.
After we got our own seat, we were welcomed by the cabin crew with a bottle of mineral water for us to freshen up before she gave us a duvet for us to be more comfortable because later on it will be a little bit colder.

We were scheduled to take off around 2.30 pm. Travelling to Tokyo from Kuala Lumpur will approximately took 7 hours journey. You will have ample time to sleep, do the book/magazine reading and anything.
As for me, I will only sleep for few hours after take off and the remaining times would be for meal, reading and relaxing. Trying not to fall asleep as we will arrived Tokyo around 10.45 pm and there will be a little jet lag if we sleep along the 7 hours flight.
** Kan best kalau ada in flight entertainment — movie or music.
Finally, we are arrived (safely) at Haneda International Airport. Bersyukur sangat sampai dengan selamat because the flight was bumpy due to turbulence. Hmmm, there goes my experience flying with AirAsia X Premium Flatbed. We disembarked efficiently and move to our transit hotel for that night. What happens during the next few days?
